Hi All!!

I have a super urgent question.

I am moving to Munich (for 30 days) and once there I will be taking up a small job.

Do you I need to get my residence registered? and if so how/do I need to obtain a tax identification number.

I would appreciate any clarification on the above.

As an EU citizen, you are allowed to work (also as freelancer) in Germany, but of course you have to fulfill all registration, accounting and taxation requirements.
Since all of them are quite complicated and in German, I strongly suggest doing it with you home country registration and tax ID. Consult a good tax consultant experienced in intra-EU matters about how this is done!
