Hurricane Dorian is passing through South and North Carolina, after hitting Florida and Georgia, on its way back into the Atlantic Ocean. The full impact is unclear as it is a current storm, but at least 30 people have died in the Bahamas, 6 in Florida, 1 in Puerto Rico, and 1 in North Carolina.

You may have a point there. We had 100 mph winds and six inches of rain Monday a week ago. Did not make any but local news.

I lived in New York during Hurricane Sandy, so Dorian is not my first hurricane. But I thought there might be others on this website living between Florida and North Carolina who might have been affected.
I also thought other members of this website might care about the safety and well-being of fellow members.
