Hi,

My name is Sandeep Anand and am from India. I have been offered a very good job in Aarhus, Denmark. The company is ready to sponsor my and my family's (spouse and child)visa/resident permit.

My delimna is that since, I am the only child of my parents and want to know how easy is it to get Danish resident permit for parents and what approach should I take. Should I apply for their resident permit before flying to Denmark or should I first go there and after staying for some duration there, apply for their visa etc.

Any help in this regard will be great.

Thanks,
Sandeep Anand

I'd say it is impossible for you to get residence permit for your parents. The chance is probably zero. Danish immigration services even reject to give residence permit for the spouse of Danish citizens let along their parents and in your case, your parents don't have any connection to Denmark, only you have so they'll only give residence permit to you because you have a job here.
