Cheapest cities in the Philippines

Hello everyone,

Budget is an important consideration when moving to the Philippines. Ideally, expats would settle down in a city in the Philippines where the cost of living is low but where they could also enjoy a decent quality of life. Would you be able to give a few tips to someone planning a move to the Philippines by answering the questions below?

What are the cheapest cities in the Philippines?

Why are they cheap? What singles them out as a city where the cost of living is low?

What is the average budget for one person living in these cities?

Is it easy to find a job as an expat in these cities? What is the overall quality of life like?

Are they expat friendly? Would you recommend these cities to someone looking to settle in the Philippines?

Please share your experience,

Bhavna

As far as I'm concerned most large cities in Philippines are dirty with the exception of Davao, President Duterte was previously the Mayor of Davao City and has made sure it was cleaned and livable, here in Cebu especially Cebu City where its filthy,  needs to be cleaned upped, I would imprint on Japan public school system where nutrition, cleanliness and manners are taught from pre-school onward, l recommend people to live in the Province where the air is clean, public markets, Ocean is near and a simpler life
