Hi - anyone got any recent experience of bringing a dog from UK to Shanghai?
We will travel in August, so thinking about how hot it will be;
- also whether its best to fly into Shanghai and put dog in quarantine or to send the dog separately into Hong Kong and transport her, (by road I suppose?) to Shanghai is best?
has anyone done it recently and any thoughts??

China is a very dog-friendly nation. Here, on expat.com, you can find other posts in the last two years (you need to manually search) on people who have asked this exact same question. They list agents and everything that you need to know.
You are in luck because everyone loves dogs in China, and in Shenzhen, you even have hair-stylists and doggie fashions and clothing.
Please search the form for "bring dog" or "bring pet" and you can read the various posts. All are just heavily laden with great information and fantastic guides and "how to" direction. Best of wishes.
