I would recommend some travel groups if you really want to ride a camel. Most of don't own camels sadly, pretty sure I could trade my car in for a camel but camels don't have air conditioning..

Sure! I went to ushaiger and loved it! would totally recommend that its an easy drive out.

There are several activity groups that meet and have fun on regular basis. Some of them are expat only, others are locals and expats; All you have to do is to ask around. You can find some activities on internations as well.
