Hi all, can I know normal water consumption for Muscat? My hse include me total 2 person.. Our water bill is like 40omr and used over 10k gallon per month.. Is this normal? I seldom at home

Hi eddie2020,
Your meter is obviously faulty.
Report it to the bill collection agency.
They will have the faulty meter checked, replaced and will adjust the amount against your future bills.

Do you know how to apply for govt subsidy for water? Subsidy is applied automatically on my electricity bill, but not in water bill. Do you know the process?

Hi alexthomas009,
I am not even aware that any such government subsidy is being offered on water consumption. The best thing to do would be for you to personally check with the nearest Oman Investment & Finance Co. SAOG (OIFC), where the utility bills are payments are received.

my colleague(expat) gets it on her water bill, so am sure we are entitled for it...even I get it on my electricity bill but not on water..!! but will check it out at SAOG
