Are Yellow Pages still around? Martindale.com is one of the better compilations of legal professionals including bios and cases and easily searchable.
Public services are available generally based on income. Most firms handle a load of pro-bono cases.
Unless there are skeletons coming out of the closet such as immigration violations what needs should an immigrant have that a citizen does not?
