Looking for an appartment in Copenhagen

Hello!

My name is Eleni, happy to be here.
On August I am going to move to Copenhagen with my husband and we are looking for apartments.
I have sent some request of interest via BoligPortal to house owner but with no response.

What I was thinking is to book some appointments with house owner and then book a flight go there see the apartments and spoke with them.

Do anyone have a good suggestion about how to make all this process?

Hi Eleni Minadaki,

Welcome on board.

Perhaps you could post an advert in the Housing in Copenhagen section so that you might get some offers.

All the best,
Bhavna

Hi Bhavna,

Thanks for your answer, sounds a good idea!

Regards,
Eleni

Currently, there is an ad on this forum which looks to be from a serious landlord. I would try to contact her as her phone number is stated.

Housing in Copenhagen is a big problem, especially in August because of study starts by September. For many scammers/fraudsters this is their peak season. Especially, be aware of ads written in English as many scammers are foreign people, and Danish landlords will always use Danish. Even getting the key in hand isn't always enough as some of the most crafty ones hire a room at Airbnb, set up an ad, pretend to be the landlord, .....................................

I cannot say, just do so and you have a housing why it is really difficult to advise you. However, I would say that you should wait looking for housings until you're here.

You can make an ad in the dba.dk which is a free advertisement online paper, but actually, landlords don't need to look for tenants. It's the other way round.

If you are a student, there might be some temporary solutions, and if you are here as an employee, I would ask the employer to help you.
