Seeking advice on Marriage. Am a divorced Kenya woman. My Fiancee is British He is coming over to Kenya so we can get married. What documents is he required to bring with him? How long will it takr for us to be given a go aheaf

What kind of law do you intend to get maried to?If kenyan then he needs some legal documentation to show that he is a kenyan or has come to do something,He also requires a certificate of no impediment to show that he is single and the basic documents

Your partner will be required to produce a 'certificate of non impediment'. This is proof he is not married in the UK. It can take up to month to come through after request is made, cost's about £30 if I recall. T
his has to be produced to the registry office in Nairobi. From then on your marriage could be booked within a week!.
