Looking for training centre

There is a Women's Culture House that gives cake and confectionery lessons along with a lot of other cooking and decorating lessons.  My wife took the cake course there just for fun.  I don't think the lessons will bring you to a professional level but will give a good introduction.  Unfortunately as far as I know the lessons are only in Vietnamese.  Perhaps you could find a Vietnamese friend and go together.  A lot of what you learn is as much visual as verbal.

It seems unlikely that they have classes in English but it would be worth a look.

I think she speaks reasonable English. Her cakes are delicious and nicely decorated.
