Hi guys,

Is anyone here a member of the British club?

what's your question?

Just whether or not it's worth the money.

That's a pretty subjective question and depends largely on what you expect to get out of it. I'm a member and although I don't use it extensively, I think it is worth the money. Bear in mind that with membership you also get reciprocal access (for a BHD1.000 fee/entry) to the Dilmun Club, the Yacht Club and the Rugby Club and during Ramadan the club still operates pretty much as normal.  :top:

I think if you go at least twice a week, it might be worth it. When you join they give you 50BD in vouchers, which you can spend in food outlets, so that's an immediate return. Plus they run different activities (pub quizzes, theatre plays), you can use the library, the pool is cooled, the gym is quite good, you get access to other clubs (like the person above commented), and booze/food are cheap.

Im a member we don’t go very often but when we do the food is really nice place is a bit dated but pool is ok and seems to get a lot people around it in summer with lots children

You can not go the rugby club no more apparently so check which other access you have to an alternative club
