Hi,

Would like to hear from you guys how was the transition from Singapore to Vietnam been like? Any words of advice for someone considering the move?

In anyway, I will be visiting HCM in mid march, let me know if you guys have serious cravings for local food, I can try to bring them over for you while we enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee.

I reckon that you had better do a search Vietnamese style in HCM in some foreign websites. it probadly helps you much in transition.
more care, prepare for disappointment, culture shock if consider moving.
life has challenges. some is good, some is bad.

Hi Ting,

I have moved to HCMC for about 2 weeks now and i find that the transition to have been easier than i had expected. The people in HCM are nice and hospitable. The weather is hot but i guess its quite similar to what we experience back home. Food is good and you can find most of your material comforts (cafes / internet etc) here in HCMC. Many people can speak English but if you can, you should try to learn some Viet as well.
