Yes you can buy a bar and work behind the bar. What kind are you looking for big,medium or small

You can own the business and as boss hire yourself to work in it.  You cannot own the real estate and somewhere down the line you would be well advised to get the required work visa.

A word of caution the last 8 months or so has seen many bars and bar/restaurants up for sale, especially foreign owned ones.  If this is really your dream then have lots of backup cash, perhaps 2 years worth as you hopefully build up clientele.  It's a tough nut to crackany foreigners share your dream bit there aren't enough customers to keep the dream alive.

It's a tough nut to  crack.  Many foreigners share your dream, but there aren't enough customers to keep the dream alive.  As a result prices get lowered and so does the profit margin.
