Being an expat in Nauru can turn out to be a wonderful human, social or professional adventure... with potential moments of nostalgia and homesickness along the way.

What are your personal tips to prevent homesickness?

How do you deal with such feelings?

Are there shops or stores offering products from your home country in Nauru? Or maybe venues with music and ambiance from your homeland?

Haaaaa...quiet common problem in Nauru to face loneliness. I have been here close to 2 years...apart from work and hotel room, I have not explored anything. I am not a great drinker, so that option reduces further. I guess people meet in their rooms to catch up....
