Things to do in Tangier during the weekends

the weekends in tangier are not all the seame. sometimes there is good weather with sunshine; you must be in one of many beatches of tangier. if the weather is windy; you can go to the mountain across rmilat country or around cap spartel and if it raining; you should have a dring or eat a delicious tajine in one of indefinitly kinds of bars or restarants in the city.  Ah don't forget the cities around : Asila Ksar-sghir Tetouan Chaouen......
About festivals one of the most famous fetivals of our city is TANJAZZ, it will take on in 09/09/2015

Hello to all! They are lots of places to go to during weekends in tanger for example... Tabadoul, Hotel Chellah with live Music lots of partying all the times..... You just need to the real people for that.

June to September:
Endless Luncheons:
Asilah; Tetouan; L’Ocean; Chez Abdoul; La Piscina; that restaurant at the end of the Diplomatic Park; Le Mirage (great view, disappointing cuisine) Cafe Hafa; Cafe Hanafta; Fils de Detroit (Casbah at night) and Beaches (there are several, all needs car for transportation)
One can rotate them the entire Summer in four months and will never get bored.

October to December:
Cocktail parties at friends houses; Intimate Dinner parties; All Saint Day’s masquerade, and indoor dining: El Morocco; Casa d’Italia; San Remo; that Syrian Restaurant near Grand Socco; LongTai on Hassan II; El Tangerino, La Fabrice, Tom Yam (Thai) etc.

January to March:
Nothing, as everyone is abroad.
Finish a novel of two.

April & May:
Intimate and quiet dinner parties to plan for the Summer. These two are also good months to visit Chefchaouen, as the hordes of Chinese tourists and loud Spaniard visitors are not yet swarming the city, and the roads is no longer slippery and dangerous. Another good time to visit Chefchaouen is September, not too hot and not yet cold.

This is a fantastic suggestion.
If I may add, there is a new-ish hope-in-the-wall Syrian Restaurant on Rue d’Italie, own by Syrian immigrant, called Abou Tayssir. Super cheap and super good! And no tourists!

Can you or anyone also recommend a good health club facility that is within walking distance from the Mershan or Casbah?
