Has anything changed in 2019? I am new here, but I have been told that the Religious police has almost disappeared. I have been few times at the local mall here in Jeddah and I see couples, young ones too, walking hand in hand, obviously with the woman in abaya or the full dress. Not that they have marked 'carrier's on their foreheads, but no o e seemed to bother. May be Hotels are still a no no...but here in compound people have their girlfriends, various some of them...and I don't see any issues.
So i can walk with a friend, female, without being bothered seems to me. Any?
