Detroit weather

Hey,

I was wondering if there happen alot of tornadoes in the area of Detroit?

Hello agten,

While tornados do occur in other states they are most common in the states of Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota and the northerm part of Texas. This is the area commonly known as "Tornado Alley". Tornado risk in Detroit is extremely low.

That said, tornados aren't what you need to worry about if you're looking at Detroit for a move. The city has just filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 9, there are some 70,000 abandoned buildings, population is plummeting, over half of the city parks have been closed permanently, public services are suffering or not available at all. Even once posh neighborhoods of the city look like the jungle. You sure that's what you really want?

It's comfortable, but watch our for tornadoes.

No need to pay rent, there are plenty of abandoned houses available.

Just have a lot of time to kill in the office today, paged back to see what problems were still unresolved.
