Hi there!

I'm planning a 4 months stay in Fairbanks (Alaska) in the Fall of 2008 as a transfer student (Northern Studies)
Is there someone who can give me some "inside information" about the University in Fairbanks, family accommodation (My husband will come with me for 3 months)etc....and life in Fairbanks.

Thanks a lot!

I moved away from Fairbanks five years ago, but I lived there for 20 years.  I'll try and dig up some reminiscences that would be useful and pass them on.
