Hi one and all, landed in sunny Dubai only 4 weeks ago and for the first 10 days my life conssted of walking 50m from hotel to office and back again - BORING
Then I found out about duplays.com which has all sorts of sports that you can sign up for and meet people, so a win win -friends and a healthy lifestyle.
If anyone fancies touching base then I would be happy to meet up for a coffee and chat - male or female

For women it's easy - try expatwoman.com for example. They have coffee mornings to greet newcomers and dozens of events.

Quickbird, there are plenty of sporting clubs if you're into that, plus pubs that show live football etc where people gather.
