475 Subclass Regional Visa - where to go other than Perth in WA

Hi all, this is Zahid Anwer (32 years) from Pakistan I am CIMA UK qualified and Project Management course from BMC Houston. I have working experience in paper and board industry,Power Generation company at General Manager level apart from this I am also a corporate trainer for Advanced Excel and Financial Modeling in Pakistan and Qatar. I have got immigration to Australia on the basis of 475 sub class temporary resident region based VISA means I can live and work anywhere in Western Australia other than Perth for the two year period after which I can move anywhere in Australia.
I plan to land in Australia by May 2013. I would like to get connected with friends there and moreover I am in a fix to shortlist which region to move to with respect to opportunities avaialble since I only know Perth and dont know where the major comapnies resides in WA. I intent to join any mining company.
I am married and coming with my family (wife and a kid of 1 years age).

Your thaughts are appreciated.

Dear Zahid,

Did you already land in Australia. I have the same visa as yours and am quite confused to know where to land among the regions available.

I have family with me.
