Hello All,

Could anyone tell me how's the attention in Hospital/clinics Priv/public? Are there plenty drugstores? What about gyms? Is easy to get internet connection at accomodation? Is it fast enough like to multiplayer gaming? What about LAN Parties?

hi, freakyfingers

the internet access is wimax, which is not as reliable, as it is expensive  so if you really want to depend on the internet - don't count on this option. the dial up and ADSL (or ASDL? :/) is said possible somewhere in the forum, but this needs to be checked.

there are clinics for expats, the general medicines and pharmacies are available, not sure about any special drugs. A girl was recommended a certain phyto medicine (made of herbs), I asked for it in various random pharmacies and they did not have it. So some special drugs are not guaranteed.

there are gyms, at least the one my fellows attend - the sultan (?) or something like that. not the best in the world as some other guys said, but acceptable.

one can survive here, after limiting the "wants" and expectations though
