There are a wide choice of televisions available. But they are expensive because of the high import tax in Ethiopia. But I do not know if a US TV will work in Ethiopia - I understand you need a PAL TV - if you want to import one you need to check it out. It is easy to get an ARAB SAT box that will give you a good selection of programmes.
