Hi,

when settling in a new country, working parents are mostly concerned about finding child care services for their children.

What can you share with us about the child care system in the Virgin Islands ?

How much is daycare in the Virgin Islands?

Is the staff qualified at these daycare centers?

What are the usual opening hours?

Do they provide other services at the daycare center?

Any daycare center in the Virgin Islands you would like to recommend to other expats? What makes them special?

Thank you for participating! :)

I really can't address the childcare question as I don't have children in childcare.

I do know that there are several childcare facilities here on the island of St. Croix.
Childcare facilities have to be licensed and providers have to be certified by the Gov't. They're required to take a certain level of childcare courses including 1st aid and CPR.

Some are credentialed to teach early childhood educ.

I would think that all childcare is somewhat expensive.
