@lorly60.......Senior apartments you got to be kidding  ! ?  Nursing homes yes ! For the abandoned elderly... In this country/culture Costarricenses have large families and that is their senior arrangement.Where I live it is considered one of the best places in Costa Rica but wifi-internet can be very spotty.Along with power and water outages.....

Right on both counts.

With respect to wi-fi, you must understand that Costa Rica is infrastructure-poor. So while all your neighbors may have landline telephones and fiber optic wi-fi service, that doesn't mean that those amenities will be available to you. All the connections may already have been allocated.

Some years ago, a friend applied for a landline phone from ICE. His request was approved, but no line was or became available -- ever. He died after about six years on the waiting list.

If a public service (landline or cellular phone, water, electricity, Internet service, etc) is important to you go to the service provider and get an ironclad guarantee that you will be able to get it.

Hello everyone,

I have removed some posts from this thread. Please note that offers will not be accepted on the forum. They need to be posted  in the Housing section.

All the best
