Thanks Stumpy, but I meant expats who have successfully moved to NZ who are over 50 and live in certain
areas, not retirement homes. Do you have any knowledge of certain areas that seem to attract retirees?

Retirees are all around NZ.
Depends on what they like or dislike as far as weather, shopping, scenery, closeness to relatives.
Also medical facilities as they would need their own medical insurance.
It is an individual choice and not just based on settling in alongside others in communities.
