Roughly it takes 3 months, but because there was a holiday (Christmas and New Year) there will be delays.

At least 45 days from experience. Also depends on the organization that is making the request on your behalf. In Romania, a work permit can only be processed by the company offering the job opportunity.

@Reuben, you did not apply for a work permit or visa. The company did it on your behalf.
