Hi Bebz Everly,

Welcome to Expat.com !

I have created a new thread from your post on the Slovenia forum so that members can guide you.

Getting a visa will be difficult but are you sure you want to go there without knowing or having seen him personally... I think your safest option is that he comes to visit you in the Philippines ....

I hope members can guide you.

All the best,

He should visit you in the Phillipines first. And then you should marry in the Phillipines because it's easier than to go to Slovenia with tourist visa. After marriage you should apply in Slovenian embassy in Tokyo for visa D. I think you will need to go there personally, in covid times it was possible to apply online only. But I think they changed that with lowering covid restrictions.

Forget about Belgium embassy in Manila, they refuse tourist visas for no reason. And they are very arrogant and hostile to applicants. One of the worst embassies in the world probably :)
