I left France and I'm very happy about it because, after 40, it's impossible to have any job. And with a sumptuous pension of 89 EUR/month, I didn't want to end up homeless. So I liquidated all my assets and moved to Paraguay. On a human level this country is disastrous but life is not expensive there, the currency is fairly stable and term accounts yield 9 to 10% net annually.
