If you come in under the IRS scheme then you are not permitted to work. So you can move into your villa but you wont be able to work and earn income. If you have overseas income from investments etc then I think you should be ok. Read More

just over 1 p per min is v cheap. Calling Mauritius from the UK via Skype costs 13p per min. Guess I'll be using Skype then. Thanks. Read More

thanks fot that but close to Rs7 per min (Sezam) to the UK doesn't strike me as good value! So there aren't any internet dial up numbers you can use for cheap calls out of Mauritius where you pay by the minute and not via a monthly or prepaid ... Read More
