About
Hello everyone !
I am taking the liberty of opening a post on the blog in order to collect some advice.
Indeed, currently in Paris I strongly wish to emigrate in 2019 to more welcoming regions.
As a result, I am starting to find out about regions that could be favorable, particularly Cancun. Cancun is at first glance my favorite destination for the moment because of the potential contacts that I could have in my entourage as well as for the reasons that I will explain to you below.
Do not hesitate to contact me if you wish to discuss your experience and thus pass on your opinions to me.
My project is structured around three main motivations. to give you a little more context.
First, living conditions. Indeed in France and moreover in Paris, I do not find what I am looking for, namely living conditions worthy of the name; by worthy I mean having the possibility of living in comfortable accommodation without having to break the bank, having the sea and a much nicer climate. The Parisian grayness is really heavy, as is the time spent in transport.
At first glance, I spotted a few housing opportunities in Cancun; namely a well-kept two-room apartment, with balcony, swimming pool and gym in the residence for 600-700 euros. Do these prices seem decent to you given the standard? Even if it means going to live at the end of the world, I want to improve my living conditions and do it in very good conditions. I was given the contact of a real estate agent in Cancun and I hope to be able to speak with him soon.
Secondly, I would like to go abroad with the aim of living in a foreign culture. I have already had the chance to live a little in Argentina, and although not very exotic compared to the way of life in the capital, being in a foreign country and learning on a daily basis does a lot of good in my opinion. All the Mexicans I have met have always seemed extremely friendly to me and I must say that it is the only nationality that has given me this impression. When do you think it will be once installed on site? Is it easy to build an entourage? To integrate and live like a Mexican? I find that the Parisian environment is very difficult (even being a native of Paris). The incivility as well as the ambient bad mood make life unpleasant, I find.
Third, what is the employment situation in Mexico especially towards Cancun?
Why Cancun you are going to tell me? It seems to me that this region, from an outside point of view, seems to be an important employment area, combined with dream landscapes and infrastructures which allow both comfort and the opportunity to earn money. Am I right? Personally, a Bac+5 graduate, I have just left a very large company and I am currently working in consulting as a Senior Consultant. Consulting seems to me to be an opportunity both to be able to export; because it is an activity that exists all over the world, as well as to earn a decent living. Do you think there are opportunities in this area? How much do you think his salary is lowered compared to France? Do you think that we can acquire better job opportunities than in France by exporting as a European graduate? Do not hesitate if you have any advice (sites or others) to guide my research.
It seems to me that the conditions as well as the pace of work are more demanding than in France in terms of hours, with a reduced number of vacations. However, I don't really see the point either in allowing yourself getaways, even if only for 5 weeks per year, when you can live in places that are heavenly all year round. Afterwards this is a very personal point of view.
In any case, thank you in advance for reading this message, which you will undoubtedly do.
I will pass on my phone number to you if you agree to discuss your experience in person. Did you stay in Mexico for a long time? What did you do there?
I hope you have a very good evening.
Yours sincerely
