About the candidate

In my role as an MEP QA/QC Engineer, I was responsible for ensuring that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works on-site met the project's technical specifications, international standards, and quality requirements.

Specifically:

I reviewed MEP drawings, materials, and method statements to ensure compliance with project specifications before execution.

Conducted regular inspections and site walkdowns for MEP installations (HVAC, firefighting, drainage, water supply, electrical conduits, lighting, etc.) to verify workmanship and installation quality.

Supervised and coordinated with subcontractors to ensure quality compliance at each stage of work.

Issued internal and external NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) when deviations were observed, and followed up on corrective actions.

Prepared and maintained QA/QC documents like inspection request forms (IRFs), material approval requests (MARs), method statements, and test reports.

Attended inspections with consultants, main contractors, and clients to obtain approvals for MEP systems before concealment and handover stages.

Coordinated with testing and commissioning teams to validate system functionality and compliance.

Ensured all materials used were approved and met quality standards (through MIRs and sample approvals).

Participated in final handover documentation and DLP (Defects Liability Period) snagging.

Throughout, I worked closely with the project's QA/QC Manager and the site engineers to enforce quality assurance procedures and maintain compliance across all project phases.
