Position overview:
The hospital is seeking its 6th and 7th Gastroenterologist (1.6 FTE). These roles will join a highly motivated and professional team dedicated to advancing gastroenterology care.
Key Features of the Role:
18 clinical beds in the Gastroenterology Department.
Three fully equipped endoscopy rooms with spacious recovery facilities.
Comprehensive gastroenterology care, including ERCP, VCE, endoscopic ultrasound, single balloon enteroscopy, IBD, HPB, and oncology.
Active involvement in the national colorectal cancer screening program.
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, DC Clinics in Dokkum and Groningen, and UMCG (University Medical Center Groningen).

Ambitious and eager to contribute to the growth and development of the team.
Passion for teaching medical students and physician assistants in training.
(Nearly) completed training as a Gastroenterologist with BIG registration.
Willingness to participate in on-call duties and multidisciplinary collaborations.
