US IT student seeking long-term opportunity in Ireland
About the candidate
I plan to relocate to the Republic of Ireland in summer 2027 under Ireland's Working Holiday Authorisation and expect to be available for full-time work from 1 August 2027, after allowing time to settle in and explore.
I'm completing a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, specialising in Cybersecurity, and am seeking System Administrator, Systems Analyst, or related IT roles. I hold an Associate degree in Networking and have 20 years of professional experience across multiple fields, including extensive customer service and working with business technology from an end-user perspective.
My direct IT experience includes 2.5 months with Open Dental Software, where I provided technical support for proprietary software to dental-office employees and their IT staff.
My Working Holiday Authorisation provides temporary legal work permission without an employer initially needing to sponsor an employment permit. My goal, however, is long-term residency and employment. I would therefore welcome internship-to-hire or temporary-to-permanent opportunities that could lead to a longer-term role and an employment permit.
I'm reliable, adaptable, and very serious about building my IT career, and very ready to learn.
