Description
Responsibilities:
· To provide an environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the literacy learning process.
· To carry out different teaching to meet the needs of students with varying learning styles and needs.
· To ensure growth and progress that is consistent and appropriate with the child's age group, subject area and/or programme of learning.
· To organise event & activities to enhance students' learning
· To assist in the development of learning materials, preparing schemes of work, maintenance of academic records and monitoring of students' progress, achievement and attendance.
· To perform pastoral duties such as but limited to student support, counselling and monitoring of behavioural impact upon academic development.
· To communicate effectively with all parties such as students, parents, peers and line managers on a regular basis on students' academic matters.
· To act professionally in all aspects of work such as deadlines, schedules and efficiency.
Requirements
· Possess at least a Degree in Education/Teaching/Training or equivalent.
· Exposure to international curriculum such as IPC syllabus.
· Fluency in both spoken and written English.
· Good team player, communication and interpersonal skills.
· Exhibits self-motivation, high work standards, attention to detail and learning orientations.
