Maintenance Superintendent

• Maintenance (from basic to rebuild) of mobile equipment (heavy mobile equipment (surface exploration and production drill rigs haul trucks (rigid and ADTs) , FELs, excavators, shovels, tipper trucks dozers, motor graders , mobile cranes, fuel and water trucks, tractors, skid steer loader, forklifts), underground mining mobile equipment and light diesel (light vehicles, highway trucks and buses).

• Power plants (Diesel engine powered) maintenance.

• Maintenance planning and management for mobile plants (mobile ore crushing plants, heavy mobile equipment for surface and underground mining, construction equipment, high trucks and light vehicles), backup power plants, fixed ore crushing, screening, smelting and recovery plants (mechanical, civil, electrical and instrumentation systems maintenance).

• Management of condition based and predictive maintenance system for mobile equipment and mineral ore processing and smelting equipment.

• Knowledge of world class maintenance management systems mineral ore mining, processing and smelting equipment.

• Set up, maintain and audit of computerised maintenance management systems.

• User knowledge of world class computerised maintenance systems (worked with Ellipse ERP, Business Objects and Microsoft Dynamics as a maintenance stream champion).

• Developing training material and training of condition based and predictive maintenance system and computerised maintenance management system users (Engineers, Maintenance Planners, Foremen, artisans, maintenance clerks).

• Technical reports writing and analysis.

• Services workshop (machineshop, metal fabrication, electrical services and mechanical workshops) management.

• Maintenance of mineral ore milling plants (mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems maintenance), smelting plants and mineral concentration and recovery plants.

• Strategic planning and management (strategic planning, implementation and review).

• Engineering projects management (planning, design, appraisal and implementation).

• Conversant with ISO45001:2018, ISO14001:2015, ISO9001:2018, and NOSA SHE systems.
