Looking for social work with NGO sector
I desire to work with an NGO in order to drive social change.
I am also open to entry level Information Technology opportunities.
I can part-time in running errands, coffee-meetup/chatting (knowledge and cultural exchange) and secretarial services for foreign experts.
I am open to academic sponsorship to upgrade my skills.
My journey began after I failed to find a desired job in technology after I graduated from University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Information Technology degree. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to hold many other varied work positions as -
- an IT certifications sales consultant/ SEED coordinator (with Techno Brain Uganda Limited);
- an insurance sales consultant (with UAP Old-Mutual group);
- a policy reform consultant (with Uganda Insurance Agents Association and Internet Society Kenya);
- a researcher (with Rikolto International, School of Public Health, Development Links Consult, among others);
- and also as an actively involved social work volunteer for a year.
As of right now, my experience includes microsoft office suite, product design and marketing, research, writing, data collection/management, social/community work, insurance advisory, IT sales consultancy, coordinating programs, policy reforms/social change advocacy, and voice acting.

Soft skills (Good communicator, project manager, negotiator, persuader, resilient and flexible through collaborating on multiple projects with different types of people and organizations.),

Risk assessment (Carrying out pre-assessment of potential risks, provision of possible options for
averting/avoiding the likely risks, customize and market suitable various products to individuals and
corporations, proposal writing, compliance monitoring, claims management, and data
