Finance Controller

Seeking a Finance Controller to oversee all internal and external financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and statutory compliance. The role involves managing daily finance and accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and maintaining effective internal controls. The ideal candidate will liaise with banks, auditors, and government authorities to ensure smooth execution of financial matters, while also providing strategic financial insights to support business decision-making and sustain the organization's financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

1 Handle financial planning, reporting, and audits

2 Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements

3 Manage banking relationships and external financial dealings

4 Liaise with government authorities to get approvals and tasks done

5 Lead and guide the finance team

Requirements

Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting; CPA/ACCA preferred

7 years' experience in finance, preferably in mining/industrial sector

Strong knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and finance regulations

Proven ability to deal with banks and government institutions effectively

Strong leadership and communication skills
