Hey, Big A,
If you haven't already, check out vagas.com.br -- it's kind of a Brazilian Monster, where you can upload your resumé, and search for jobs.  Like so much else, it's heavily weighted to the Southeast, but who knows?  You may get lucky.

Amapá??? Fat chance. Whay would you want to go to Amapá anyways ?
It's on the boondocks.

Most of any expats who might work or live there, are probably lined up with a job through a Mining or Oil Prospecting Company.  I

If you haven't land that kind of gig, then your prospects there are bleak.

Alascana,

You´re into import-export area... You cannot even import mosquitos from China coz
there´s too much in Macapá already, LOL!

You would do well in São Paulo and Santa Catarina. They already have a lot of graduates in "Comercio de Exterior" but they also need people who´s got a lot of experience especially if you´re well acquianted with Excel.

If you already have a good command of Portuguese, you could be a consultant. Or
you can find buyers of commodities that Brazil exports and you gain commission from that. And vice versa from other countries like the US.

Good luck!

All I read are guesses and surmise. .....just the facts okay..
You seem to be knowledgeable of all things, it's none of your fricking business of where i go or want to live, you ever thought someone is beyond your tiny mind of city life in  Brasil? , what is the boondocks ? All of Brasil is boondocky..... Do not lump me with Expats who live or work there and I ain't into SWAG,either you know or you don't know. And when I need doom and gloom you'll be the first person I will look to. Now do you have any useful information on work there or just blowing smoke. For I have done research on the area and your doing geography. ....

Don't like either city (lol) or wanna work in the rain or cold, had enuff in Alaska,  thanks for the info. I worked with a very hugely  (channeling the Trump/lol) or one of the largest shipping ,delivery companies in the USA,  I think we ranked one or two. My field of knowledge  rules and regulations,  I don't pack boxes, I work on what's in the box  and is able to clear customs and documents necessary import or export. Excel and Portugese is not the Problem, I just don't like big cities and migration is heavy to SC & SP. Prefer off the beaten trail . Thanks for the insight yet I like living up north ....lol.....and the did import mosquitoes to Permabucho. ...lol....
