Tax in Brazil for those who have Digital Nomad Visa

koirj

Hello,

For which period, those who have digital nomad visa need to declare the income to pay tax?

If those who have digital nomad stay more than 183 days in Brazil, they are considered as tax residents so they need to pay income tax.

This applicable period is from date of entry in Brazil or from data of being cosidered as tax resident?

For example, I entered in Brazil on January, 2023 and have stayed for more than 183 days in July.

I need to declare for the total earned income from January or from July?

Thanks for your quick reply.

I've also checked this website but could not find the same case as mine.
