Hi -- where is everyone? I'll be in Donetsk in mid-Sept. looking for an apt. Does anyone have any ideas? Near the Donbas Hotel would be ideal. BTW, I've been in Poland for a couple of years, so I know what it's like to live simply and frugally. (ie. NO high-end apts. from agents, please). If anyone already living there wouldn't mind renting me a single room till Christmas, that would be great, too.

hi, there are couple of agencies with offices but most of them works without one. they v good network so will find you one in 2-3 days, i also can help out to anyone who needs flat in centre of Donetsk.

Hi I will be going to donetsk in Aug/Sept and I am looking for apartments close to the Medical University available for long term rent with good security. 1st or 2nd floor. Anyone I can contact. Please help. Thanks

Hi everyone!
The most reliable way to rent an apartment in Donetsk is working with an agent. Me and my bfr was searching a flat in a city center for a long time without help (papers, advertising), because we thinking that it would be cheap. But when we decided to use the services an agent, we find a suitable flat with a cheap price. Of course we have paid the agent, but she deserved it.
But you must beware of swindlers.
