Hello fellow folks!! I'm wanting to buy some off grid land (5000sqm +) with a stream/ River and trees (pref not pine or eucalyptus) to put a caravan but I'm also needing to rent a cheap house for storage and an address (to prove I'm not living on the land) around the castelo Branco or river tagus area away from civilisation.... if anyone has any neighbours/ friends etc that have some land available under £15k please give us a buzz, also not sure how much i would expect to pay for a 3 bed house (not flat)... doing this on a shoestring but can't stand uk anymore. Look coats to the new chapter in life!!

There are cheaper areas of Portugal than Castelo Branco, like Guarda, Portalegre and Bragança, for example. If you have difficulties with the language, look for a solicitor in the area you are looking for to help you:

Hi. I think it’s legal to live in a caravan on rustic land and also set up a Lifetime/Keter garden shed for storage (sturdy sheds, 4x5 metres or so. Others, please correct me if I’m wrong.

The best piece of land, we're very flexible, just want to get away from neighbours and be more as one with nature, thinking maybe even start an animal rescue but that's a whole new path to check out.
