Constantin Macherel has been awarded several national and international prizes. His first CD received the prestigious award of 5 Diapasons and was broadcast on the most important radio stations such as France Musique, New York Public Radio, Bazerische Rundfunk, RTS, NDR Radio, Rai I etc.
The cellist has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the St. Petersburg Taurida State Orchestra, Karlsbad Symphony Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Aarau Symphony Orchestra etc.
