Tutoring support for students with learning differences

I was that student. Diagnosed with dyslexia, dysorthographia and a developmental language disorder, unable to follow in class. My parents paid for private tutors for years, without result, until they stopped. What changed things was not one more teacher. It was a different way of working, built for how students like me actually learn. That is what I do now: I build every exercise around what the student already cares about, so the subject stops being abstract. I am an engineer and have worked with these students for 8 years. Collège and lycée, in maths, French, sciences and other subjects. Students with a PAP or PPS plan, and any student who is struggling. Two sessions a week, ninety minutes minimum, from September to June. Every programme is built individually over the school year, so I work with only a few students at a time.
