Residence by Retirement

To meet the Mauritius retirement visa requirements, you must be over 50 years old and show either a minimum amount of USD 24,000 or a monthly amount of USD 2,000 in your bank account. You will also need to transfer at least USD 2,000 in a local bank within 60 days as from the issuance of the permit.

This amount covers both the main applicant and any dependents. This retirement visa is for 10 years and renewable and there is no minimum time requirement for the Mauritius retirement visa.

Residency By Property Investment

To get Mauritius residency by investment foreigners can buy a property of at least USD 375,000 in an approved scheme. This makes you eligible for a residence permit valid as long as you own the property. You can then work in Mauritius without a separate Mauritius occupation permit. Foreigners can also buy property in Mauritius together, with each investor investing at least USD 375,000. This policy, called fractional ownership, can be beneficial to couples and business partners. We have our own real estate agency working only with the buyer to ensure access to the full market, whilst assisting with the banks, structuring and the rules and regulations.
