Manh Long Optical is an optical shop at 147A Le Duan, a short walk from Hanoi Railway Station. We have been working with eyewear in Hanoi for 25 years, and we also welcome customers from overseas.

We offer free eye tests, whether you decide to buy glasses or not. The test normally takes around 20–30 minutes, and you can keep your prescription afterwards.

We make prescription glasses, prescription sunglasses, progressive and multifocal lenses, photochromic lenses and blue-light filtering lenses. We also work with well-known lens brands such as Essilor and ZEISS. There are around 1,000 frames in the shop, including acetate, metal and titanium styles, so there is plenty to try.

For travellers, timing can be important. Single-vision glasses are normally ready the same day when the lenses are in stock. Standard progressive lenses usually take about 24 hours, while Essilor and ZEISS progressive lenses generally take 3–4 days.

We speak English in the shop, including in the evening, and we are used to helping visitors who may only be in Hanoi for a few days. If you are leaving Hanoi soon, just tell us your departure date and we can explain which lens options can realistically be finished before you leave.

You can bring your existing prescription or your current glasses, although we prefer to test your eyes rather than simply copy an old prescription. We can also put new lenses into your existing frame if the frame is still suitable.

We are open every day from 8:00 to 21:30. Card and cash payments are accepted, and delivery within inner Hanoi, including hotels, is available.
