I am looking for any teacher at any public or private school for Ethiopian children in Addis. I would like to donate pencils to a school and will be bringing the items with me in March 09. It would be great to have made a contact before I arrive!

I am still in Addis but will be leaving by Tuesday, 31st. I will be back for May/June so please provide any info. I have to be careful about donating to the administrations because there is a risk of them not giving to the individual children! Thanks for your help!

Last time my friend went to a public school and donated some books directly to children. You can do the same. You may go to a Public School Called Birhan Guzo located on the road midway from Adwa bridge to Kasanchis. It used to be called Ras Mulugeta School. Any taxi driver around kazanchis knows Birhan Guzo elementary school..
