Research participants needed for Getting Married in Thailand Service

Hi everyone,

My name is Roshni and I am conducting research on behalf of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

The FCDO is looking at the services we provide to British people abroad. In particular, we'd like to learn from people who have recently used the Getting Married in Thailand service. (Link here: https://www.gov.uk/marriage-abroad)

If you have used the Getting Married in Thailand service, we would like to invite you to take part in the research we have planned. Your feedback will help us understand what worked well and where there are problems in the service to improve it for individuals like yourself.

The research itself would take no more than 45 minutes of your time and would be done remotely, for instance through a Zoom call.

To ensure that you're comfortable sharing your feedback, whatever you say will be anonymised before being shared with the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office.

If you're interested in taking part, please reply to this post letting us know any dates that are suitable for you.

Thanks very much!
Roshni

Normally the forum doesn't allow contact details, but a British government .gov.uk email address would probably be fine.

Perhaps that would be the best way to request first contact so members know you are who you say you are. :)

Also, perhaps you could link to the getting married in Thailand page on the .gov.uk site as it will probably be useful for readers who might well be unaware of it.

Thanks very much for the comment Fred! I have added a link to the service in the post.
