Hi, Can anyone advise if it is possible to cancel a MM2H Visa with out having to visit Malaysia? Thanks

I cancelled mine by simply writing a letter to them and I received the confirmation letter from them through the post, which allowed me to withdraw my FD. However, I was in Malaysia at the time.
