Meeting Americans

I've been here for over 41/2 years. Married to Tica. All in all our relationship is good. Most problems are cultural. If you're married to a Tica or Tico you know where I'm coming from. Nuff said! Part of the problem is she has her friends and family to spend time with. I don't! My spanish is good enough for us to talk but not for meeting people here. Why you ask after over 4 years my spanish isn't better? Everyone speaks English because it's easier! Son works at a call center. Daughter married to Gringo. My wife and both of them...speak English!
My question is where do Americans here go where English is spoken? Sports bars? Regular bars or clubs. I'm going crazy. If you have suggestions please send to me. Thanks!
